The strange thing is that last year, when we bought our Black Express, the dealers each had about a dozen black ones on the lot. Right now, I can't find a black one within hundreds of miles (I live near Atlanta).

At the time we bought our 1500, they also had a 2500 Black Express; if my budget had allowed I'd be driving that now :)

I traded grilles with someone who had a Sport and didn't want the horizontal look!

I sanded the chrome very well....then I primed it, painted it gloss black, then did a couple of coats of clear coat...

For the black lugs, I ordered new ones, as well as a set of black locks. I bought the lugs from Autoanything I believe...they were about $2 or so for each.

Look in the Owner's Manual for the lug size, then go to Gorilla's site and find the lugs you want to get the part number. Then search that part online!! You'll find them for a good price.

First Post! Traded in my Wrangler Unlimited and got a great deal on a 2015 Sport as well! Couldn't be more happier with the purchase :)

I was thinking of gettng black lug nuts as well and painting the center cap, but other than the headlights its kind of how you know its a 14 and not a 15. The 15's have Semi-gloss wheels not gloss, and the center cap is painted. Not sure why they went to semi-gloss tho.. as for the headlights.. well, why would you put expensive headlights on an express, I had a feeling it was a limited thing if this package took off, and yup! Sure enough they did it 15+ express gets blacked out quads..

My 2014 has semi gloss wheels too... I've seen some 13s with gloss ones however... not sure why....

The Black Editions have the projectors with chrome shrouds, but I have seen the 15s with the black package with the quads... weird how they are doing this. I wish I had the blacked out shrouds on mine!! But I may end up opening them up and painting them myself.

So there is a black edition package and then another black out package as well? I don't get it.

Seems the main difference is the Hemi badge delete, the projector headlights and the Sport LED tails.

Very interesting.. You know now that you say it, the dealer had a 2015 in brilliant black with the package, I wasnt a fan on the sparkley black on a "black out"

Jerry, do you have Semi gloss wheels? Im wondering if they did this to the 2014's at the tail end.

 So ok im done trying to figure this out, clearly there are a few black out packaged but the biggest change I noticed for 2015 was the badges and quads - very strange. oh and the "painted honeycomb grill" is ********, its the same forever fade black plastic on every other express, its not painted, unles they are talking about the actual grill, not the honeycomb

After having a 2010 TRX with the brilliant black, I have to say I love the regular black much better.... I didn't like the metallic flake in it.

The same thing with the headlights as well. After having the quads, the projectors have that cool factor, and work very well with HIDs in them.

'14 model, purchased in Feb of 2014. Currently at 14K miles. After just a few months of winter back in '14, I decided those garbage stock tires had to go. Replaces with Toy Open Country ATIIs this time last year, much better. Besides that, bone stock.

Did you bump up to 275 65 20 or stay with the stock size?

I went with the 265/65...next to no rubbing save when turning hard left all the way to the limit (aka, when backing out of the driveway on to the street). Even then, it will only rub a tiny bit on the driver's side. On the plus side, they gave a small bit of lift vs stock tires (.5" I believe figuring they are 1" taller overall vs stock).

Besides that...I have been extremely pleased with these tires, especially in snow where they have performed amazingly.
