This is the first start after rebuilding the 5.7 in my '06. You can hear the exact moment the oil reaches the top of the engine. It only took 6-7 seconds, but it seemed like forever from where I was sitting. :uhoh2:

Fixed it.

No, I didn't prime it. I was planning on pulling the Relay before I started it the first time but just realized that my '06 doesn't have one. The only fuse I found that deactivated the fuel pump also deactivated the ignition/starter. I thought about pulling the injectors but thought that the assembly lube would be enough.
