Just a little picture I edited of my truck.
I wonder if I could get some vinyl graphics made like this or would the logo be a no-go?

NICE! How long did it take to shop it and bring the hat and logo into it?

*Keep in mind, the factory stripes, on the lower section went all the way into the fenders, under the fender flare, they didn't stop at the front few inches of the door. Move it forward to stop halfway into the mud flap and you're "Factory" "Style-ized".

You know I approve... :D

..but does the rug tie the room together? ;)

I used paint.net and it took me about 10 minutes because it had been a while since I last used it. I had to relearn how to do the layers.
I was aiming at having the stripe end at the bottom of the windshield. Not as much fender in front of the door on the 2014 compared to the 1970. Also the stripe ended before the flares on the example I was referencing.

There is always a vinyl shop willing to make a few bucks and get their names out there. I went to several trying to get a custom black on black Boston Bruins logo for the back glass on my suv, but most shops wouldn’t do it due to endorsement... until I found this one shop who said they would make it large enough to cover the side of my house if I told people about the store :)

I think your idea would be awesome on a modern truck

That looks great. You could probably find the vinyl striping at LNC Truck ? just a thought.

You have to find a way to make the upper and lower parts more parallel. Might be hard with the new body lines, but it doesn't look right with them pulling apart as they go forward IMO. Love the idea.

They aren't parallel on the original. But I think they might come together more towards the front end. I think that the top could dive down a bit towards the headlight, or curve the bottom of the lower line some.
