Ok, so I have currently Connect 5.0.

I have a 4 speed fan, and I already have steering wheel audio controls.

But would this fan adapter work for me or would I need something in addition to this to make my 4 speed fan work with the 7 speed stuff?

I can also confirm the software changes to what ever vehicle it plugs into. My vp4 was out of a 16 Chrysler 300 M plugged into my 15 Ram and it rebooted to Ram.
