If you look at the pics, there is chrome around the glass projector lens. They (Ram) make ones that are black where the chrome is.

They discontinued that style headlight because the projector lense would reflect the suns rays onto the black paint and it would bubble and melt. So Chrysler pulled that style and that's why they only sell the chrome style now.

It's extremely hard to find an all black set that hasn't been melted or burnt around the projector.
