No worries if the buyer takes the radio to his local dealer , they can give them the security code in less than 3 min.

It's out of my truck and don't mind giving up the VIN but If it's that easy then I will send an email to my service manager and ask for it.

It is that easy , I installed 2e diff RA2 s in my truck before I upgraded to the RA4 8.4NA , niether of the RA2 radios required an anti-theft code for me .....

Does this require anything else to make the compass work? A Bluetooth mirror would be required as well correct?

Requires a compass module , a 3 wire harness and a dealer flashed code CV2.

I don't think there are any modules or harnesses necessary to go from RA1 to RA2 5.0. Should just be plug and play. I'll send you my VIN just in case you need it for the security code but as others have stated, the 5.0 radios under most circumstances don't ask for it.

As mentioned it's plug n play as is but if you want full functionality, you may want to add the Ra2 mirror w/mics, the VR/phone button and maybe the steering wheel audio controls if you haven't already.
