Bingo. The craigslist ad said it was a dealership that had old stock they needed to get rid of and extra headlights from different scenarios. Listed Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Fiat, Chrysler etc. The ad had about 15 pictures of different kinds of headlights.

Once i texted the number he guy said the lights were from a 2015 Ram that sat on the showroom floor for a little over a year. A customer finally wanted to buy it but wanted the chrome lights, not the black ones (that are for sale). He said the dealer agreed to do it because they needed to get rid of the truck because 16's had already been out for 6 months.

So he told me the zip code so i knew it was almost 3 hours away from me, each way. He said i could pay him through paypal and he would ship them. I asked if i could call the parts department and pay with my credit card and he said no because these wernt "official parts listed in their system". (Shady?!?!?)

I still thought everything was good, until the morning i was set to drive 6 hours round trip. I asked him the name of the Dealership so i could google the address, he said we wouldnt be meeting there as it was his day off and he had the lights with him. He then sent me some random address. I then asked him if he could still meet me at the dealership parts department and he said no, that he worked in the parts department as a parts delivery driver and he was out delivering stuff and that he wanted to meet me at the address he first sent me.

So the first time we spoke, he said we could meet at the dealerships parts counter. Then the morning we were supposed to meet he changes it up and says hes not working. Then not even 5 minutes after he said that he wasnt working, he said he WAS working and was out delivering parts.

Something just wasnt right. I felt like id be driving almost 3 hours and something would happen. Either id be robbed, the lights would be broken or not in the condition he said, or he would bail on meeting me.

Oh and i ended up buying a set of black TYC Projectors from RockAuto.com for $424 shipped. Ive already got them and im waiting on the adapter that i havnt even ordered yet because im waiting until i get paid again so i can order everything i want at once; 13+ projectors adapter, 2 high beam diodes and a 35w Morimoto 9006 HID kit with 6k bulbs. Seemed to make sense to just wait and order it all at once and to install it all at once.

I just now found a set of brand new All Black Projectors for only $400!!!! They are the all black ones. It is a dealership in new York on the border of Connecticut. The guy said they were on a brand new truck and the customer who bought the truck wanted the chrome ones so they put chrome ones on for the guy. It's the dealership selling them. They was asking $600 but I got them down to $400. I can't wait. I'm picking them up wednesday. It's a long ass 2 1/2hr, alkost 3 hour drive each way but it's worth it!!

I used to have those on my sport, but were replaced by the chrome ones due to them being melted in the inner ring.

Yea they're super nice looking but from what ive hears from everyone they melt... such a shame. They look amazing.
