I have a 2017 Ram 1500 tradesmen with the chrome front bumper. I am looking for a black one to trade. Live in Delaware will drive to meet but not more than an hour or so away.

Thought about it. But it being chrome would be harder for anything to spray on it and stick good.

Plasti dip will adhere just fine. I'd di 4 to 5 coats

I'm getting ready to dip my chrome wheels and badges as well. As far as taping, depending on the situation you don't have to do much. My emblems on my jeep i just taped a large box, sprayed the whole area and peeled what I didn't want. That bumper will be super easy to do. Just make sure you clean it right and you'll have no problems.

Btw where in Delaware are you?

is this a wanted thread or a plast dip thread? The guy said he wants to buy or trade - he did not ask for opinions and how to's for plastidipping lol

I understand the thread went off track. But I didn't think plasti dip would work well on a chrome bumper. I do plan in the future to replace the bumper with a off-road winch bumper.
