Got pulled over again by the same cop that gave me a warning. Its time to trade in the tinted LED tails and get some DOT approved tail lights. Recon or spyder LED tails. Let me know what you got guys.

I got mine off amazon at a pretty good price if i remeber correctly it was like 200

I don't want the same problem so I haven't tinted mine. What I was thinking about doing, since I have the factory LED tails, is tinting all but a square so that everything is tinted except the square. That way the lens looks tinted but one square of lights is not. That would comply with DOT standard. Similar to what Ford did with the Explorer Sport. My wife got one and that's where I got the idea.
