the truck is from Stacey David's gearz. the show is moving to another network is no longer associated with speed. they are selling of a couple other items they did as well.

calling it a garage sale to get ready for the new up and coming stuff

I had heard and under the impression that the trucks and cars modified in these types of shows like Gears can not be sold to the public due to liability after being modified.

Go to the gears website, its for sale there too. Rattle trap is his new production company.

Cars can absolutely be bought and registered. When a dealer donates a car then it is usually smashed for the liability, that is why most car shows work on a friends car etc... Or buy the car for some discounted price
