Need help SoCal guys! Installation of 4.10 and LSD, where???

I have 3.55 and I want to get 4.10 gears and lsd installed. I spoke to
4wheelparts in Redondo Beach.
They said that the parts weren't available and I said I could get them myself... but they won't do the install "for insurance purposes."
This surprised me because they have done alot of good work on my truck in the past, including jobs where I have provided the parts.

Where can I get this done??? I am not looking for the cheapest, but rather the best...
Does anyone know a local shop that you would recommend???
Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe talk to a dodge performance enthusiast at a dealer or at the track and see who is installing gears on the newer models. You can bet the good ole boys racing are not using 3:55 gears. Any of the newer dodge trucks running tall tires should be using short gears, ask'em where they got the gears done. That's how I found a good body shop. I went to a Hot Rod shop and asked. What part of So Cal are you (so I can recommend something local).

Here is a shop that I've used for Dyno Tunes etc. They specialize in high performance tuning and driveline work. Mostly Mustangs, Shelby's, Vette's etc. but I am sure he could help you out, and be done right.

Shoot him a line. They are in Downey. Put the truck on his Dyno for some baseline numbers while you are there. It's a neat experience.

Ask for Greg. Let him know "Brakelate" sent you.

Just ordered oem 4.10 gears and lsd from Moe's! Also, got a Mag-Hytec diff cover coming! Thanks Matt!

In an attempt not to thread jack (if that's the correct term) do any of you guys any shops that dyno/tune Rams a little farther north? Santa Barbara County area? Much appreciated!
