Driving to work yesterday my dash display showed -17*F, radio said +1*F, same on several stations & National Weather Service.

Is this a defect or calibration issue? Any experience with this problem?

Windchill can't reduce the temp of an object below ambient temp, wind only draws heat out of objects faster until the object is at ambient.

I have a 2013 and I was wondering the same thing. Mine seems to read 5 degrees cooler.

My 13 seems off too. Reads much colder than it is on most days. Seems worse the colder it is.

Also, windchill is the percieved temperature by a human due to the air flowing over the body removing heat. Inatimate objects can not register windchill.

Very interesting. I did not know this. I always wondered about this.

Just bought a 2013 Laramie this weekend and having the same problem with the outside temperature being incorrect. Mine is typcially off 5-7 degrees. I suppose I'll have to call the dealer.......

Mine ('13 Express crew) so far averages 2-5 degrees BELOW actual temp. Right now, actual outside temp is 33, my RAM indicates 29

My dealer checked mine out and a few on the lot and they all seem to be 3-5* off.

Guess we will see a repair??

Keep in mind guys that the dealership and Ram can't fix it if they don't know about it. The more people that complain (especially when you are under warranty) the better the chance they'll do a mass fix.
