2012 Ram starting to disappoint

Im starting to get frustrated with my new 2012 Ram. I have 1003 miles on the truck, and I am going to be taking it to the dealer this week for 4 different issues.

Issue 1. Vibrations in the gas pedal, from what I have read it is from the TC.
Issue 2. The drivers side mirror flops around in the mirror housing so badly I can barely see out of it.
Issue 3. The knob that controls the A/C is about to fall off of my dash.
Issue 4. My alignment is nowhere near strait. The 12 o clock position on my steering wheel has to be at about 10 o clock for me to go straight. It was straight when I bought it.

Im hoping once I get these issues fixed it will be good for a while, I would like to go 1000 miles without problem.

hmm..maybe they are still working the kinks out of the 12's...but damn thats quite a list of issues. hope it works out

Wow and here I am complaining that my 2011 never see's the dealership. I'm sorry to hear that you gentlemen are having such problems. After 50,000 trouble free miles I was really starting to believe that Ram was getting their act together. I've got another 100,000 to go before I retire this truck. Let's hope that all goes well...

I just crested 2500 miles on my 2012 1500 4x4 quad cab. Haven't had any issues except the occasional pop on my drivers side mirror. However it's not very often, but still odd. Drives like a dream so far. Maybe just an unlucky coincidence for OP. hopefully the dealer will fix it.

my ac knob is a little loose too, hope it dosnt get worse

I've got about 3500 miles on my 2012. No issues yet. Hey my ac knob is alittle loose too. Not too concerned about it though.

The knobs are a bit loose really...but treat them with love and they'll be there forever.

Every truck I test drove, and a few I didn't, had a loose knob for the A/C.

Mine has auto a/c, so I have no need to touch it.....so it don't bother me.

Only thing I noticed on mine, is it sounds like a weak whistle sound from the drivers mirror, at 70mph and above.

its always suck to have any issues after dropping that much money on a new truck. But the dealer should take care of all of it. But they should be an easy fix for the dealer. And in the grand scheme those are some minor issues. Only one besides the TC, that could have some real issues is the steering, but that could just be a loose tie rod bolt or something.

Be firm but polite with the dealer and they should get you squared away.

Mine is hanging on for dear life, its loose beyond normal.

Have you taken it to the dealer? Just get them to fix the small things. Shouldn't take any time.
