Hello im new to the forum. I just got a 2013 Ram 1500 5.7L 4x4. I want to put a leveling kit on the front and was wondering if that's all I need to do it. Does anything get out of align? I know I will need to get an alignment but I didn't know if I need other parts other then just the leveling kit. I don't want anything to break over time. I want it to be as reliable as the factory setup. Also what is a good leveling kit and what size tire can I go up to with a leveling kit? Any help would be appreciated.

1. Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks are what you should use to level.

2. You might want to put on Mevotech UCA's as an insurance. 13+ ball joints like to pop. Guys with Bilsteins have had better luck with stock UCA'S than spacer lift guys.

3. Yes get an alignment done.

4. Depending on the wheel you have you can run a 35" tire. Some guys can get away with a 35 on stock wheels without a spacer, but it depends on the mounted tire width. My Duratracs for example say they are 12.5" wide, but mounted they are 13" wide with the sidewalls treads. You would need a spacer if you want to run 35" duratracs on stock wheels.

5. If you're keeping stock wheels buy BORA wheel adaptors. They're the best out there.

6. If you're looking at which offset to get, -12 is pretty aggressive looking. 0 also looks good. I have a -12 because of my 1.5" wheel adaptors. Pic below:
