Hello guys have a question for you all. My ram 1500 makes a barely noticeable pop sound when you turn at a "fast" or sharp left. Took it to the dealership and they could not find where it was coming from. They did change out my front driver strut and cleared everything in suspension and brakes. To me the sound is coming from under the dash board by the firewall. Any one ever had this problem?

Thanks

My 2010 did that. I traded it, so I never found out the issue. I read on here something about a "clock spring" in the steering wheel. Not sure how correct they were. May check into that...?

I don't know if it is the same year or not, but awhile back somebody was complaining about a similar sound, and somebody came back with service bulletin about something under the dash IIRC.

Hi ghost2.2--I don't see a TSB that would relate directly to what you're describing. Are you able to go on a test drive so you can ensure the techs are hearing the noise with you?
