I have a 2014 RCSB v6, with the 8 speed. No clue what rear gears (haven't been able to find that info). And even with the v6 this thing will move pretty good when you lay in to it. No worries here at all.

I have a 2014 Ram Express 1500 with an 8 Speed with 3.92 Gears Stock.
It has a super fast take off and a strong pull on all the gears!

I believe the 6 speeds have the traditional gear shift lever on the column, while all 8 speed trucks have the rotary shifter on the dash.

If you crawl up under the driver's side and look on the rear axle, there should be a label that will tell you (3.21 or 3.55 for the V6).

^^this. If you have a shift knob you have the 8 speed. If traditional column shifter you have 6. Also with it showing the top gear as 6 that's another indication of the 6.
