I don't think this problem was posted yet , my father drove the truck today and everything was fine, upon stoping and putting in park and going into the house for 20-30 minutes, when he came out to drive the truck, a message came up and said 4wd service and the light in the bottem left corner of the gauge cluster Sayed on. Tried shifting the T-Case in neutral and now it won't go into gear at all and will not move. Anyone have this problem yet? Already tried the steps in the manual and no luck.

Have you looked under the truck at the transfer case to make sure the linkage is intact?

The transmission will shift right? All the fuses and relays are good?

The transmission will shift through PRND but won't engage any gears and when placing back in park, P blinks and the cluster says speed to high to complete shift

You could disconnect the battery. And try it.

If that doesn't work, check your manual regarding shifting the tcase into neutral, IIRC there is a specific sequence.

I'm gonna see if I can find it

Sorry buddy. Just spitballing but maybe you could try using to neutral override process for the tranny.............not sure what would happen but might work to "jog" everything if something quirky is "hanging" everything up.

I'm sure while reading thru the manual you came across the section detailing pulling the strap

Is it actually in neutral; will the truck itself move?

The T-case is in neutral not the gear selector and yes even in park reverse neutral and drive it will roll

Well, if the battery reset didn't work you could try a programmer (I think you can still use the code reader function but not sure). If none of that works you might be "up the creek"

Some codes are "hard" codes so a trip to the dealer may be enivitable.

One last idea..........maybe try disconnecting the electrical harness on the tcase? Should be on the driver side from what I've seen.

Haha tried that as well, looked like it might of been a glimmer of hope but it popped back in neutral again, should I try it while the key is in on position

Well damn..........I would think to try it while the key is off. Did you leave it unplugged and then try shifting?

Sounds like you've tried about everything I would have........
