Well, I traded in my '05 Ram 1500 Daytona 4X4, regular cab/short bed truck in today. Well, not officially,..........I ordered a 2016 Sport Ram 1500 4X4 in white, also regular cab/shortbed. So when it comes in around mid December, the trade-in will be official. lol
I added 9 different options that I wanted to the build list and was pleased to hear that there is 2k in rebates for this truck. I got 8k for my 10 year old Daytona, so I couldn't pass up 10K off the sticker price. I will post pics ASAP when I do get it.
Now, I play the "waiting game". lol :crazy: :crazy:

Maybe you guys can point me in the right direction here. Whom on the forum can I contact or follow to get updates on my build. They are putting the order in today, so the salesman said I may not get a VIN until a couple of weeks. Would like to know when my truck could be completed and delivered. Thanks!

Not trying to promote the other forum also not a member there but I do recall seeing someone post a thread for tracking builds.If someone on this forum does it then I haven't seen it.

Congrats. I picked up a new '15 regular cab sport about 6 months ago. Just a shade less than 20,000 miles to date. I found it on a dealers lot about 90 miles away from home. I definitely wanted the Rambox option, so it was really tough to find. Could find Sport reg cabs, but no Ramboxes. Did you add those? I use mine everyday. It's been a great truck to date. No problems at all, well I did have to do a factory reset on the 8.4an. Good luck!

Thanks everyone. I appreciate it. Looking forward to getting the new truck. I was going to wait till the spring to order, but the 10k off the sticker price was hard to beat! (8k for my truck. 2k in rebates.)

I ordered the truck for 2 reasons.
One,...there are like no regular cab trucks around at all and, 2) I wanted a white 1500 Sport and I added a bunch of options that I wanted in the truck, not what the dealership added. The salesman tried to sell me on the Convenience Group option, but I don't really need that. I could use that money on a nice cat back exhaust. :naughty:

Well, it's been one year with my awesome Ram Sport yesterday.
Man,.....time sure does fly by.

With so many trucks being crew cabs you can easily forget how good a standard cab truck can look.....very sharp in white.

If you don't mind me asking, how much are folks getting off sticker for the 1500 4x4 Crew Cab sport models? I'm really interested in a Sport or Night edition.

I didn't get too much off sticker, but the 8k trade in for an 11 year old truck and 2k in rebates was well worth it!!! :favorites13:

So,.....I was messing around with Photoshop yesterday. Mind you, I'm not an expert or even close to it. I did the best I could, but I just wanted to see what this wheel and tire package looked like on my truck. What do you all think?
The rear will have a 2" drop to level the truck out. It is 4X4. (I don't want to lift it.) I forgot to add that I want the wheels and tires to be flush with the body of the truck and stick out much, if at all. Thanks! :favorites13:
