Really interested to see if the 1500 will bring back the megacab option, that with a 6'4 bed with the ram box in a Laramie longhorn edition would be Yuge

It would have been nice just to have the dude showing all of the new features as opposed to the dude with the beard speaking a bunch of mahambo jambo. But I like the new ram, thanks for posting razr. I can't stand shiney chrome on my ram, glad to see it go for the next guy.

IMO....the truck sales correlation should be made to the unemployment rate and not the housing market over the last several years. Just a thought I had when watching the video.

i dont see the 6 lug wheels staying, ive seen pictures in previous years of a 6 lug ram, personally i would like them to stay 5 lug, keeps the wheel choices open

Good question. Rumor (parts guy at dealer) says by going six lug they somehow can increase tow, I guess beefed up axles and stuff to go with it. Idk, I'm not savy in towing.

Agreed. Back in 2013, the transition to coil springs was a major step forward in terms of ride quality in exchange for reduced payload.

Unfortunately, comp didn't stand still and they managed to tune their leaf spring systems to ride within a hair of our coils. Being leaves, they have better payloads to go along with their light duties (apples to apples comparison).

My truck maxes out under 1100 lbs payload whereas comp is comfortably in the 1500 lbs range.

Depends who you ask. In the lifted world 6 lug wheels are way more common. Only the most common wheels are 5 lug. I'd much rather have 6 lug, 6x5.5 to be exact. Just my opinion though

I don't think it would be possible to lower the haul limit and add a mega cab.

Even without the mega cab they're near the point they would need to pull seats to lower the payload limit much more...

I hope that they make the basic models a little nicer like at least a rearview camera system in everything they off and maybe the dash gauges (I think its called clusters) that shows more than what I got in my 2011 ST
