Whats the real numbers??? I swear this things gone dry. I can only add 25-27 gallons back! No way i stay on E for 5-7 gallons. Fuel gauge reads as low as 20-30 miles to empty.

I had my truck dinging at me once and I was able to fit in 26.8 gallons. I thought it was weird too and researched my tank size haha.

One thing I'm looking into now is larger tank sizes because last week I pulled into Wawa to fill up and happened to get there right after another guy so I parked behind him to wait. He got out, put the nozzle in the filler and went in the store leaving his truck running like a lot of Cummins owners do with their I do what I want attitude. He came out, waited a minute for it to stop filling, got in his truck and left. I couldn't believe the pump when I got to it.
Had I known he may have come out and found me waist deep in his wheel well.

Maybe the guy who put in 41 gal had a Titian aftermarket tank?

My Rebel has the 32 gallon tank too and the first I filled it up I didn't believe it. Climbed under the truck and on the end of the gas tank there is a sticker. Mine said 32 gallons. There is just a stupid huge reserve.

Part of the reason why I'm adding a 90 gal RDS auxiliary fuel tank.

This made me laugh, for the longest time I hated them with there little attitudes... once you buy a Cummins though, you'll understand why :)

I know in my xterra it keeps a large reserve to help cool the fuel pump. Dunno if it's same on the ram.

If your Ram only had the 26 gallon tank, do you think you still could of got 27 gallons in it? )))))))))))

Happens all the time! I've gotten a lot of cars over the manufactures tank size rating. Temp plays a roll I believe. I know it says I have a 32 gallon tank but still. Something tells me dodge didn't recalibrate the gauge or till empty gauge if I always have 5-7 gallons left.

Pretty nice to know those of us with a 32 gal tank have a 100 mile reserve when it's on Empty. All of my fill ups until recently have been 25ish gals. Decided to run it for awhile when gauge read empty and still only got 29 gals in it. Not sure what other manufacturers do to cut corners but FCA seems to do a lot of this type of thing. I love my Longhorn but this kind of stuff is annoying especially on a $50K truck.

Over the weekend I thought I was done for... I went a while on "Low Range", by the time I got to the gas station I put in 30.5 gallons. I still had the rest of the day to go lol.

I could have went maybe 20 miles after this fill up. This is about as daring as I'll ever get.

I get really bad mileage ATM, I just got my speedo calibrated today, ( after that fillup ), but I was averaging about 11.6MPG. with that said, I wanted to see how much reserve I had. From the time the light came on until the time I got gas, was about 80 miles, once the truck started saying " low fuel ", I had gone another 44 miles. That's when I got gas.

so was I, until yesterday. You need to get it calibrated. You're losing MPG, and you're losing proper shift points. I was only off by about 3 - 5 ( depending on speed ), but once fixed, the truck is completely different now.
