Absolutely! Plenty of traction in that rear...

Maybe too much....can you say wheels up launch ???

Can you imagine being in a mustang or camaro thinking yer the man when you take off hard from a light, and THAT passes you with the front wheels in the air ??

I was taught how to drive in a 79 Chevy 1 ton dually RC, had a built 454 with a built 400 turbo and 4:11 gears.

Dad let me take it to a high school dance and a guy there that had a 69 chevelle started talked **** about my farm truck, well we ended up going out to a road outside of town and lining them up and he never talked **** about my big truck again. That 350 in the chevelle was to close to stock for what my dad had under the hood of that dually.

Something I will never forget.

I love the look too. I actually bought a new 2015 with Cummins, Aisin, and 4.10 axles. It was a beast. Unfortunately it was a backbreaker. I kept it less than a year. That was all I could take. It was more truck than my body could handle...

This is the new thing, I saw a couple of the 3500 or 350's pimped out on the last Barret Jackson. I find it interesting for sure, but my issue is weight. These things are monsters, they make better monster trucks IMO then slammed down. Just a little unusual to have that much weight slammed.

I don't get it. How do you drive that ... anywhere really? If there's even a pebble in the road, there goes your bumper. Literally no ground clearance. I'm sure speed bumps elicit pants wetting terror out of the owners of those trucks. How is the 2nd one even going to get over the trash in the parking lot in front of it lol?
