So for those of you with 4th Gen diesel Rams what trans do you have and do you like it? I was just reading that 2013's will have Aisin trans in 3500 now and not just in chassis cabs 4500 or 5500 models. I am not sure but have read that Mercedes designed the 68Rfe before the breakup.

In our 2500 Diesel we have the 68RFE I believe, and it tows and runs just fine. BUT, it does have one little oddity where between 35-40MPH itll shift extremely hard if you let off the gas during that time. Haven't been able to figure out why yet.

Mine does the same thing. However I'm still at 3K in miles and it seems to be shifting smoother each day. It was shifting really rough in the beginning though

I think he has close to 25K on his now and its still doing it. Haha. Even took it in and they just told us nothing was wrong, and that its under warranty, so if it blows up bring it in.
