While installing my oil pan heater I noticed oil coming down one of the coolant hose. I said to myself "**** the catch can must be full"

But no

But noticed one ac line was looking suspicious at its junction.

I need to schedule a visit to the dealer in the near future :(

From the little I could find in the diagrams I have found, it look like the transmission cooler line... Anyone can confirm?

Just went in the garage and checked, you are correct ,that is an oil line for the transmission (I followed them underneath the truck).

I have an appointment with the dealer tomorrow morning, lets hope they don't sabotage my truck...

Should be as simple as tightening the fittings, but you never know.... Good luck.

yeah almost tried to tighten it, but said to myself that they would deny me the warranty if it's not that and they find some tool markings on the fittings....

Well the are keeping the truck until the part show up hopefully tomorrow.

They need to replace the defective line, but apparently they can't just change one since the part number changed and now both come as one part...

Ok so I did a little digging and the part in question is probably #4 in the pic below (52014804AG).

oil leak.jpg

It looks like they are having a hard time with this line with now 7 revision of it (this part basically replace : 52014804AA, 52014804AB, 52014804AC, 52014804AD, 52014804AE, 2014804AF)

They did in fact replace #4 in the diagram above with part 52014804AG and then had the transmission up to temperature so they could add the missing oil (using 68218925AA)

The tech spent 2.8 hours
