I've noticed that the plastic fender flares, plastic grill and bumpers are "fading." It could be that I just didn't clean my truck in about 2 months but I cleaned/detailed my truck and that didn't help my plastics and bumpers. I ended up buying some plastic restorer and that did the trick.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue on their ram...

Common issue with all vehicle types.... its all in the grades of plastics and such and alot of times the cleaning products that work for the paint don't do anything for the plastics. As suggested, look into painting them or there are alot of products out there and tricks to help to keep them looking new. Painting is the less of the maintenance options, but also the most expensive.

Here are some mothers products for plastic to keep them looking good

Yup, they all will fade. Although it usually takes a while.
Kinda odd it's already happening on your truck.

No, I wasn't even thinking of taking pictures of the fading but if it happens again, I will for sure. Yeah, I was pretty surprised that it was faded already. I know my wifes jeep wrangler is pretty faded...but it's also a 2007.

Some of the new ceramic coatings now available can be put on these pieces and they will be protected for a couple of years(Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating).
