Specifically looking at the Cummins. Anyone here regret getting the automatic vs the manual? Or wish you had the auto vs the manual?

Just remember that the sticks are de-tuned in comparison to the autos. Unless you plan on tuning, the automatics will out pull you all day long.

I plan to delete emissions and I assume a tune is needed for that. So a tune would be planned regardless. Why are they de-tuned though to begin with?

Because the manual is a weaker transmission, and if you tune your truck, you're gonna have to upgrade the clutch to hold any extra power. Unless you have an obsession with having the manual, the auto is a better option as far as towing capability and fuel mileage
