Where u put washer under the mounting bolts of the seat frame. When raised up it makes it able to clear the rear hangers so top seat can fold down when u lift bottom seat up.

or you cna cut just a little bit off the hook clasps, so as the seat lifts up, the hook clsdps can come off the hook .

If your talking about tail gate assist it's very easy I've installed 2 and no sweat either time, just make sure you get the newer version the older version I've herd it rubs. I got
New versions each time and haven't had any problems.

The OP's thread was "best mods under $100".

Your response was an utter failure, Gary.

But it will be noted and taken into consideration.

Plasti Dip and VHT both came up in this thread. Leave paint & tint to the pros and save yourself from getting laughed at and ruining the looks of a nice truck. If it comes to taking a rattle can to a vehicle or not having the money to pay a pro and just not doing the mod then just not doing the mod is a better alternative.

However suggestions givin like the cabin air filter & back seat mod are GOOD mods to do for UNDER $100 like the op asked.

Reread the suggestions givin to the op and mull over another response. Thanks

But hey, if taking a rattle can to a nice truck floats your boat then thats cool i guess. Not my truck getting spray painted right?!?!?

Nah I'll stick to yours....

So your saying everyone should paint everything?

Have tails professionally tinted?

And these are had for under $100 everywhere right?

Or are you suggesting...that nobody do ANYTHING to their vehicle unless it is professionally done? You know...In fear of being laughed at...Regarding the VHT/plastidip subject of course.

Edit: I had more....

I despise internet tough guys(although entertaining)so forgive me if I'm coming off that way.

But your comment offered absolutely zero information towards the OP's subject lol

Why even comment at all if you had nothing productive to add?! Lol

What I'm saying is when it comes to paint(not OTHER mods but PAINT, pay attention)...dont take a spray can to a nice truck. Take it to a body shop. But hey like I said, if it floats your boat, go to Autozone, get some and have fun by all means.

It would seem your truck either has plasti dip or vht on it....

I will offer up a helpful comment to this thread for ole Rzrman. Best mods for under $100 that doesnt mean taking a rattle can to a vehicle....

A) cabin air filter

B) tinted windows

C) The Stubby(short antenna)

D) some decent floor mats

E) some decent seat covers

F) if it has the center jump seat then the oem tray that mounts right in front of the jump seat

G) my most favorite...SiriusXM 5 month subscription for $25

H) debadge

I) tailgate assist

J) if not equipt w/ the upper glove box then upper glove box mod

K) rubber bed mat if no bed liner

L) a bed cargo divider/holder. I got one for $60. Keeps cargo at back of bed if you have a bed cover.

M) various LED's around the truck

N) some good car wash soap & polish, wax & sealants for nice outside shine(plastidip for the LOSS here)
