Take it from someone who has gone from the dealer to a lawyer and a warranty dispute case, PROCEED with CAUTION.
A AUTHORIZED repair center may repair you paint and there will be no record of the repair being done. (good thing).
They also may FLUB it up, as in my case.
If you don't repair your vehicle its value may suffer when selling or trading it in down the road. Not to mention its not going to get better on its own.
If it was me I would let them repair it, with their Authorized paint shop.
RECORDS will be your saving grace if things go wrong.
Keep a log of all your phone calls and visits, whom you talked to, date, and time.
Take pictures of the damage, and know where every lump and bump on that truck is. Make sure to inspect the truck under different lighting conditions indoors and outside when they claim they are done.
AND most importantly, do not let them tell you that a inferior job is the best they can do, make them fix it to your satisfactioin, your truck should be as good if not better than a new truck should come from the factory.
And mostly, GOOD LUCK
