Well barely made it home yesterday. Went out for a ride and started to get a knock coming from the rear end. Thought maybe the clutches in the dif lock were bad or maybe the springs (locking in and out). Got home and drained the dif. Pulled the dipstick and it had shaving on the magnet. oops On the drain plug magnet was even worse. This was and aftermarket dif lock as I thought it would handle the new power. Eventually it was not the one that I need for the power. 600 RWHP to much for it. Anyone have any ideas on a strong dif lock for a 2015 RAM 1500 Express.

What diff are you running? I've got a TruTrac in mine with no issues and it can be added into the ZF rear diff with a change in the driver side axle.

Going to check if it is available now. For the 2015 when I got this one the Tru Trac was not available for it. Had one for my Titan and loved it, just was not available.

It's not listed for the ZF axle but the 9.25" 12-bolt unit will bolt into the ZF axle, you just need to replace the driver's side axle with the longer passenger side axle. Two local guys just did it this winter and it's working perfectly; WildOne on here could tell you exactly what's required for the swap.

You also need to swap to the earlier 9.25 gears ,plus as Kurtis said you need the one longer axle to put a Tru Trac in the ZF diff.Contact Matt at Moes,i think he'll be able to get you hooked up with everything you need except for maybe the axle, that you might have to source through a dealer. So far mines got about 50 passes on drag radials and about 2500 miles of driving and I've had no issues with it,it still spins both back tires in the water box,so that's a good sign, lol
