Extended warranty anyone?

Hi all, I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Hemi w/ 35k miles. Just had to take it for Check Engine Light and had fuel pump replaced under warranty . My question is, has anyone purchased the mopar extended warranty? I am considering purchasing one . I got a quote online from a mopar rep, LT unlimited miles max care for 3800 with 220 down and 155 a month. Plan on going to dealership to see if I can get a better price . Any input would be much appreciated . Thank you

I just got the lifetime max care for my 2016 1500 for $3K, but that was while purchasing the truck new.

I think if you will put less than 15k miles , per year, on your truck and plan on long term ownership, they are worthwhile. try for the unlimited mileage and time warranty. I normally get teh max plan and it has covered darn near every issue , on every car.

Ended up purchasing the Lifetime Max Care w/ Unlimited miles from my local dealer for 3200.

Got mine for my 2012 from him last month.....$2580 for maxcare lifetime unlimited mileage with a $100 deductible.

Cheapest I found, and this was on a 2012 with 16,800 miles (yeah, I know, I don't drive it)

Tried to go thru my local dealer, but when I gave them 2 weeks to return my call about it, and they didn't even though I called them many times....well, they lost the sale.

I paid 2300 for Lifetime MaxCare w/$100 deductible. Dealers will rob you blind if you let them. You can cash in the warranty minus some transaction fee (probably 100 or so) and go purchase for cheaper if you want to hassle with it.

I didn't mention in my previous post, if you don't wait like I did (till almost the 4 yr old point), it will be cheaper.

Got my lifetime warranty for 2900. That was almost 2 years ago and my teuck had 20k miles and was certifed pre owned
