I'm finally getting into a Ram after drooling over this truck for years.

My 2016 Bright White Ram 1500 Sport Crew arrived at the dealership.

I still have to wait because it's gonna be fitted with a few goodies before I take it home.

Thanks to everyone on this forum who helped me make my choices.

4" Superlift - I want to be able to garage it.

The shop doing the work is powder coating the components of the lift for better rust protection.

20x9 XD Rockstar 2's -12mm offset

Cooper STT Pro tires 35x12.5x20

Bushwacker Painted Matched Pocket Flares

Mopar Bedrug

Ambient Lighting

Black Ram performance hood decal

Retrax One MX Tonneau Cover

I'm also getting the Iron Cross HD Steps later in June. Apparently Iron Cross needs to fabricate a bracket for direct bolt onto the 2016 model Ram because of a slight change in the bolt holes underneath the 16 Ram.

Can't wait to get this thing.

Looks good!!! If it's not to late and you have a choice--please, please don't let the dealership detail your truck before delivery. In all probability they will just screw it up with scratches and swirl marks that you'll have to work your ass off to get out of your paint.

Still time for you to do it properly though. Clay, seal, wax, etc, etc.

Good looking truck btw, jealous. One day.

Do yourself a favor...if you haven't done it already check it out top to bottom, front to rear and look for any imperfections. Check the paint real well including in the door jams, etc. If you find anything not to your liking make them correct it before you sign and drive away. It will be easier to get fixed before you take possession. I'm not hating on Ram, I really like mine but people are always complaining about stuff they find miles down the road.

Dude you're making me jealous. It's gonna look bad ass. I'll have about the same lift height. How tall is your garage? I also want to make sure mine fits inside. When will it be all finished?

I usually get a pro detailer to go over my vehicles after the winter, then maintain them myself the rest of the year.

In the past I've gone with the semi-permanent coatings like Opt-Pro & C-Quartz Finest, but with a white vehicle, I'm not bothering incurring the extra cost associated with the coatings.

It just went to the shop for the lift kit today. I'm guessing about a week.

From all of the research I did (ie the members I pestered to take measurements for me of their garages/setups), I'm confident I'll be able to get into a garage with a 7' door & weatherstripping that leaves me an opening of approximately 82 3/4".

Plus my driveway slopes up to the garage so that will help too.....
