Not sure. I think it was with my utility trailer, but I never jack knifed it as far as I know, and I think I would notice that. Possibly when I made a tight u-turn but I wouldn't think the trailer would come all the way around when u-turning.
Sounds lame but what about a shopping cart? We have nasty winds here and I had a friend a few years back get a dent very similar to that in the rear quarter panel all because of a shopping quarter bent on vengeance against humanity. He knows it was the wind cause he actually got to watch it happen as he was walking to his truck. Talk about torture.

We have decided it must have been hit in a parking lot. The den't was too big to not have been felt if I did it with the trailer, and there is no paint transfer anywhere on the trailer either.
