Nothing AEV does or sells is cheap. Nor do you find vendors that put their stuff on any substantial sale pricing.

Actually, the additional cost over the truck itself isn't that bad....tires/rims/bumpers/aux lighting/ etc....for 16k ??

not too bad....I'd guess there's easily 4k in rims/tires alone

C'mon guys, its a fair price. I don't know details for the 2500, but I know them very good for 1500, so here are some approximate numbers:
BDS 6 inch lift/coilovers $4400 shipped
UCA's from ReadyLift $750
Steering ties by ReadyLift $750
Panhard Bar (adjustable) by Spohn $130
Sway bars by Hellwig(front/rear/adjustable links) $700
Bushwaker fender flares $450
Wheels and tires $3000
Grill/LED bar $1800
So, add to all mentioned above some extras like Fusion bumpers, winch, extra alternators, steps, CAI, custom tuning etc etc. Add to the total amount salary for the staff to make this job done and you'll see $20K paid as an extra to the truck price.

Honestly not that bad of a price. There's a decked out RAM 1500 here in tow with all those kinds of extra and stuff, with a sticker price of $67k. For a freaking 1/2 ton gasser...ridiculous.

I'd like to install all those extras on 2500, but need to drive and upgrade my 1500:)) we have restrictions entering the city center with the truck that is bigger then regular 1/2 ton :) but hope 1500 will make me happy anyway :))

Wow, didn't know AEV was doing RAM now... I have drooled over their Jeep stuff in the past, now I guess will be drooling over 2500's. :)

Ain't a truck or car out there that's worth $67k.
Sure, they sell for that and more. But in reality no personal vehicle is worth that kind of money.
They get it because people pay it. If people stopped buying, price would come down.
I could completely rebuild my truck and add an enormous amount of aftermarket goodies to it and build it to exactly everything I want and never even get near $67k.
Or I could spend way too much buying a new truck and then add more to it to make it the truck I want.
Oh look, $85999 for a 1 ton? Good deal, it as heated seats and a/c.
