I know this is really ***... but I'm pretty stoked about it! Hauled some sand today, 15 bags, around 750lbs. Bought a pool, and it just got delivered, so I picked up a bunch of sand to lay under it. Should have it done this weekend.

Anyways, here's the pics!

With Sand

Without Sand (Sorry it was getting dark out)

need to haul more LOL and wow only 750 pounds and looks like it leveled the rear. I expected to not flinch at that weight. Kinda disappointing lol

Yeah, granted all the weight was at the very back of the bed. But I agree, it should be able to take more than this. Not sure how it would handle with more weight. Maybe the first inch or two is softer, and gets stiffer the more the spring compresses?

unless because we are 1500's with different suspensions we cant take as much. THe fate of the 5 link maybe. Load towards the back will do that but I really dont think that much

I have those bags on our 09 and they work really good. Pretty easy to install to and they don't affect ride quality.

It's a 42" deep, 15X15 foot Stand Alone Pool. Nothing too special, but not too cheap either. My aunts had hers for like 3+ years, so it should last awhile. I'm gonna cut the grass really short this weekend where I'm going to put it, then add sand for a good, even, smooth base. Thought about digging the grass up the entire circumference of the pool, but **** it. This will work well enough.

I remember measuring my 08.......with 240 pounds of sand in the back (my winter weight) - it dropped the back an inch.

The 4th gens do sag quite a bit more than the 3rd gens cause of the coil springs. Its the price you pay for ride comfort which I think is totally worth it and the sag can be fixed with those $85 air bags.

Good haul Trup. BTW i Hauled 82 sheets of 1/2" OSB (In 3 loads ...LOL) one more load of 28 sheets and I'll have enough for my Garage Build. With 29 sheets she stayed pretty level, just lost the Tad of Rake I got.

Haha, I'm gonna put that die in the water, that turns it blue if you pee in it. Except, I'll make it so when you pee, the die gives you clamydia. So everyones invited, just don't pee, or you'll get the CLAP! :********::********::********: Don't know if Frog will have to worry though, he might already have it... OH BURN! :Wedgie: J/K froggy

Back to the topic lol. Trip trucks looking good as always and not suprised at the rear leveling out. As yall have stated the rear on the new trucks are soft but makes the ride 10xs better.
