I purchased a '14 Ram Sport Hemi with crew cab a little over a month ago. It's the first truck I've owned, as I've had a work van provided to me for most of the last 14 years. I love it so far and hope to keep it for many years. We also have an '07 Infiniti G35x, which I love but I love the room in the truck as I'm 6'-3". The Ram is quick but my G35 is definitely faster at 306 hp. Apples to oranges I know. So far so good!

I would love a 8 speed/3.92/44-45 truck but I've gotten so attached to my current truck it would have to be one hell of a deal. Plus I've finally got my truck most of the options/mods I wanted, I kinda want to enjoy the fruits of my labor so to speak....

That is exactly how I feel, even though I really don't like my 3.55's paired with the 6 speed. Live with it and realize when the day does come to trade it in, they will probably have some bad ass upgrades even from what the 2017's have to offer. I will say, I wont settle for bad gearing again, that is a one time thing. If I would have known I would likely be in the truck for 20 years, i would have special ordered it with everything I wanted.

Yeah same here I didn't look at gearing when I bought my truck. I'm definitely in this truck for 10 years at least. But I can tell you tuning helps ease the 3.55 blues...

Man I feel the exact same way!

I've added so much to my truck the only thing I want that's not conceivable is the 8 speed & 3.92 differentials. ...

BBB , I feel the same way !

We ordered my wife's 2016 Challenger RT Plus with the 5.7L & 8 speed xsmn with all the bells and whistles and I mean ALL the B & W s based off our last few vehicle purchases , she deserves it so much for putting up with me

My next truck will likely be my last and I'll be doing my research 3-4 years out on all brand forums , to include thisone .
This will be about 12 years from now though LOL , I'm taking mental notes every day though

This is my first, and will probably be my last Ram, it's a shame; they make one of the best looking trucks on the market.

I gave up my Challenger for my fourth gen RAM. I love it so much I rarely miss my poor long gone Challenger. I say long gone poor Challenger not because I miss it, but because the person that bought it wrecked it. Anyway, I love love LOVE my truck!!!!

I love my 2016 ram. Performs a hell of a lot better than my dakota, although it was a good truck for me. I wish i had the 3.92 axle, but the hemi and 8 speed is still a beast and i usually baby it. Wife says I drive like an old man!

Worse POS I have had the pleasure of owning. Can't believe the amount of money I had to dump into it after just 60000km.

heck my 300 000km Silveraydo never had this many problems...

A lot of it has to do with you being in Canada. Canadian trucks were built by elves , and elves can't build things

Love my 2016 Longhorn. When the wife says get the one with the air suspension and "those leather seats" you just gotta say Yes Dear! She test drove it with me and loved it. Have not regretted it one bit.

My previous truck was a 2014 Bighorn V6. What a POS. See my threads on this forum. No comparison to the Longhorn.

Chrysler did the standup thing and got me in the buyback program. They could have said just keep driving it and we'll keep fixing it since it had a 100K mile warranty. Glad they didn't.

Love the Longhorn and the Hemi!

Love my truck, the 8 speed is fantastic and the hemi has plenty of power even stock. Got a great deal/incentive to buy it too! I'd say 8 cuz I'd have to get the top trim model to know how good it could really be

Overall I am very happy with my 2016 Ram. I got the Express 4x4 package, plus black edition package, and some other extras.. it essentially equates to a Big Horn if you break it down. Vehicle performance is amazing. No complaints whatsoever. The only thing I will say Ram could do better is better seats and up the basic features a bit. I am 6'4'' and have a hard time finding a comfortable driving position. I've owned the truck for 6 months now and I still am adjusting my seat and steering wheel at least once a week trying out different positions to see if i find someone more comfortable.

I have a 2016 Express Hemi 4x4. Love everything, but the seats. Shoulder blades land at the seat frame and the rest doesn't offer enough support. Love the Ram, but the Tundra I looked at was more comfortable. Way better equipped with the same sticker. The Express cuts corners and doesn't justify the sticker price. Probably why they have so many left come end of year clearance. Was given a much better deal on the Ram and the Tundra gas mileage is aweful.
