30% off is definitely not the norm.

might not be the norm, but dealers around me are selling on average of at least 12k off sticker year round. all the truck dealers around me are volume dealers they dont care if they dont make anything on the sale, its the kickback from chrysler they want

The extra luxury items are nice, but in the long run don't matter that much to me. If I had to choose, I'd save my money.

Concur.

I've had Vic's with all the doodads and cool gadgets. Half the **** i Nvr used but spent xtra money for.

I personally just found I don't need all that xtra crap.

We own a 2014 big Horn and a 2015 Laramie. I drive the Laramie and love all the extra features which there are not many from the big horn, but enough for me to get a Laramie. Location also may be a factor. Living in MN I love the heated seats (front and back) in the winter and the vented seats in the summer. Sound system is nice, extra storage, and the lights.

When it comes to volume dealers and 12-13K off msrp, how much lower would you push it before you buy. There still has to be some room to negotiate, right?

I have noticed some of the dealers who advertise those prices are no haggle dealers, meaning they don't negotiate much. They know they are already competitively priced

Get the truck that has all the features you want, or you will be regretting it later

much is an understatement. no haggle dealers around here tend to be pretty rude if you try to negotiate at all

One other thing to think about is resale value down the road.

The upgrades you plan on the lower priced truck will yield next to nothing when it comes time to sell.

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't buy either one of them with those 3.21 gears . . . I have 3.55 LSD, and I pretty much wish every day that I would have ordered it with the 3.92's . . . 3.21's would be out of the question

Do you have an 8 speed? Different story.
