Has anyone else had an issue with their truck getting stuck in 4wd? I pulled a 3500 around my parking lot in 4wd high then couldn't get it to go back to 2wd for a while afterwards. I put it in Neutral and backed up and everything I could think of. After I left the button in 2wd, turned it off, and left it alone for a bit it was fine.

Hi richard.crabtree,

Sorry to hear about this! If you decide to visit your local dealership I'd be happy to follow up with them if needed. Just PM our page and let me know.

My old 2500 would get stuck in 4WD if there was any kind of driveline binding. Usually switching to 2WD and driving enough to release the bind loosened it up. I didn't try just letting it sit for awhile, that may work too.

If you don't have driveline bind, then something may be gunked up in the transfercase, or its low on oil.
