I have a choice to make. I can either get a level kit with some new rims and tires OR I can get a tuner and an intake. I would like to get everything at once and that was my original plan however I don't want to wait anymore. I need advice!!

Tuner voids warranty level and rims don't. If not on warranty up to you if you'd use the off-road capabilities or just extra power

Since I have a 2015 I would have to get a unlocked PCM with the tuner. IF anything went wrong I would have the original PCM to put back into the truck. Unless I am mistaken isn't that how people are getting by with warranty work?

@UNSATFC dealerships can see if a tune was put in a truck even if you restore the original pcm i believe i read it somewhere here.
OP get the level and tires in my opinion

WithaA tuner/ intake you will have a new truck! And no MDS! Really nice!

New rims/ tires will also change your truck at least from outside.

I will personally go for the tuner. Alone because of the MDS off!

I'll have to see about this...I though I would be good with the PCM swap. I'm already out of my bumper to bumper warranty and I have the 5 year 100k powertrain. I'm sitting at 37k right now and 3 more years. I would hate to have something break and no be covered.

Same feelings here. Going fast was last on my list of needs when shopping for a truck.

Tuner is not about going fast. You can have it for that.

But for me it is more about having a real V8 and not the MDS V4 in my truck (except the OP has a diesel).

Leaning more towards the rims/tires since they are on sale. I'm thinking about not going with the TPMS but dealing with the light on the dash I'm sure will get annoying.

Thought i read that manually putting it in 8th gear instead of drive will prevent mds. Is this correct? And does putting it in tow mode do the same?

I tried this today and it worked. I have the 6 speed and a column shifter not the knob. Hit the minus button to put it in manual mode. Then hit the + button until it was in 6. Continued to drive, stop, accelerate. The truck went threw the gears and no MDS light came on.

Manually yes!
Tow mode no.
ECO light is not MDS.

I wanted a tuner and all the stuff too. But I decided wheels and tires. Don't void the warranty and are you "really" going to use the HP and such from the tuner? Polly not.

I would not waist my money on a CAI, because most of them will only make more noise, and no power. I would look at a tuner if you do not care about the warranty, go with t a tuner. But new wheels and tires will look good also.
