No problem. You can get it as long as your truck is within the original warranty, but it costs more after the first year. I purchased the lifetime warranty for my Challenger six months after I purchased the car. and when I traided the Challenger in for my Rebel three years later, I transferred it to the truck.

It's actually within 4 years or 48,000 miles and I'm 99.9% sure it coated me the same as it would have it it was a brand new truck according to the quote I pulled from Ziegler. You can not transfer or get a prorated refund on the lifetime warranties.

I just got off the phone with Clay at Zeller Motors and I just paid 2630 for the lifetime care warranty with 100 deductible on my 2015 ram 1500 and I was 1000 miles away from my 36,000 mile mark. On another thread I thought about trading for aRam 2500 but it was going to be too much money so I'm purchased the lifetime warranty.

ended up getting the lifetime max care $100 deductible from Clay Robbins at Zellar for $2630 all in. Ram itself wanted almost $4800 and my local dealer was $3880. Zellar for the win.

been looking into these extended factory warranties as well. Does anybody know if they are transferable when trading in or to a new owner if sold privately?

Lifetime maxcare is not transferable. It is refundable up to a pro-rated miles/years, but after 100K miles I think you get $25.

There are lower plans that are transferable to a new owner privately, but I'm not knowledgeable about them. I just know Lifetime Maxcare is not.

or 7 yrs....and the time clock starts the day you bought the truck...NOT the warranty.
