I am looking to step down to a 1500 Hemi 4x4 out of my 2500 Diesel.
I have found a 2010 model loaded out with 73k and am wondering if this year has anything I need to look for when I go look at it.
Also wondered if anyone knew the HP and Torque numbers on the 2010 Hemi and where to look to find what gears are in it.

Thanks for any help on this.

390 ponies, don't know the torque offhand. 2010 will have the 6 speed and coil back suspension, can level really easy. Gears are easy, if you mash it and it goes it is the 3.92, if it doesn't it is the 3.55 or less.

Ha, so if its a dog off the line then its not 392s all right then.
Thanks
No weird issue's with them.? Was doing some reading and it sounds like a tuner is a good way to go and get rid of the TMC on them.

There can be issues like Hemi tick from time to time or stupid stuff like leaky 3rd brake lights but still the best truck going right now, and definitely was the best truck in 2010. Hemi does require more maintenance then other engines, but not much. mainly change the spark plugs earlier.

I know on the newer model Rams if you look under the rear axle on the drivers side there's a sticker that tells you the gears. Not positive if it's on the 2010's though. Maybe somebody can confirm?

Went and drove it today, real nice truck really liked it its much nicer on the inside then my 07 for sure.
Power was nice except for the TMC kicking in right when it felt like a big hit from the power was coming on.
They did not want to give me enough for my 07 6.7 to get me to trade though but that trucks been on there lot for atleast 2 months so I except then to call after a few days..
One thing I thought was super cheap was the wheels, 20" chrome wheels that turn out to be plastic hubcaps.good looking wheels untill you notice they are plastic.

Thanks for the input guys.

I have a 2010 hemi 4x4 crew cab with 3.92 rear end and I wouldn't want it any other way. I get great mpg(I drive real conservatively as well though) it has 390 hp 407 tq you more than likely have the 545rfe 5speed auto but can be tuned to a 6 speed auto. I can go into more detail if you want me to about that. 6speed wasn't used till 2012 and I just emailed Chrysler the vin asking for a build sheet. that's how I found out I have the 3,92 with lsd. it tows around 10000 pounds +/- 300 depending on were you look and around 1600 payload. mine takes off great, handles great even my 5 foot 2 inch wife can drive it easy and she has only had small cars, only thing I recommend is running boards it was hard for her to get in and out at first lol but get ahold of me if you want to know more

There is no difference in normal operation between the 545rfe and the 65rfe, the only difference is you can select all 6 gears in the 65rfe, during normal driving it still is only a 5 speed.

Thanks for the info, truck does have step boards on it though for me I dont no why as these trucks set so low for 4x4s or I think so. But I drive. 2500 with 35s so that may be why I think that..lpl
They did call me back but still want way to much difference.
