I plan on buying a 2016 Sport CC and can't decide on a color. I've always owned Black trucks but I really like the maximum steel color. However, in certain lights it really looks purple to me. Anyone regret getting maximum steel?

Besides it being a dark color that shows dirt I don't regret it. At least it doesn't show it like black does, but once it is cleaned up it still has that wow factor. There isn't a day that goes by driving down the road and seeing people look at your truck going by. So in all no regrets!

I really like dark colors. Being OCD i just hate trying to keep them clean (black, which is what i had). When i bought my new truck, i thought about that color along with grey, blue and cherry red. I dont like the metal flakes at all so that took care of the red and the steel. Its one cool color though! its like a chameleon. My gf had a white car and i always noticed how she NEVER washes the car and it doesnt get that dirty. She talked me into white and I love it. Silver stays cleanest, but im not a huge fan. Ive seen the max. steel up close and it DOES depend on the lighting. If you like the change in colors with the light and like the metal flakes, I say go for it. As far as keeping it clean, I would imagine its there with the darker colors but not as bad as black. Go check it out in different lighting conditions if you can

Go see it in person. It's quite becoming and totally worth it, IMO.

If I could do it again, I would go w/ the Maximum Steel color.

My favorite colors are maximum steel, granite crystal, and black. I've seen them all in person. Maximum steel is unique and really eye catching. The hint of purple swayed me for a while but I think I would regret not going with the max steel.

We held out for Max Steel. My previous car was black and I regretted getting it. It's rained several times since we bought the truck and it does show dirt, but I still like it.
I've had people ask if it was black, though (parked in the shade). Just couldn't do white.

After seeing a Max Steel in person it made my decision very easy. When I purchased my '15, it was only going to be Max Steel. Looks great and gives a cleaner look longer than black.

LOVE IT!

I will have my '14 Maximum Steel Express QC a year tomorrow. I originally wanted Blue Streak but couldn't find one equipped like I wanted on any dealers' lots in that color. I found my truck about a 2 hour drive from my house equipped like I wanted (Hemi, 8 speed, 3.92 LSD, trailer brake controller, 5.0 radio).

I have been really happy with the color! It especially looks good in the bright sun. The more wax I put on the paint the better it looks! Always get compliments on it.

I have a 2015 2500 in Maximum Steel and no regrets on the color choice. It is a hard color to photograph accurately as it changes so much depending on lighting. Doesn't show dirt nearly as much as a basic black.

Max Steel or Bust!! It is very hard to photograph, as it changes so much depending on lighting, but this is my favorite photo color wise

We just bought a 2013 Durango in Max Steel. I really like it, especially the way it changes color depending on how the light hits it. My truck is Granite Crystal... we held out for that color during our search and we're very happy with it. But, the Max Steel is very nice. I'm glad we found the Durango in that color.

Yeah, I go back and forth between max steel and granite crystal. I know I'd be happy with either one. I walked a dealer lot recently and they had both color trucks sitting next to each other. Good way to compare.

Agree with everyone. Not easy to keep clean (easier than black)...but beautiful when it is!

Love this color! Went to a dealer to buy a white 15. It was gone when I got there. They said they had a maximum steel in the same configuration. I was reluctant because alot of the internet pics I saw made it look brownish. He showed me the color on a Grand Cherokee on the lot, loved it... I made him take me over to his surplus lot to see the truck...bought it that night.

I appreciate all of the feedback. This color is crazy. Sometimes it looks gray, sometimes it looks black or even blue.
