Cant say how much I love these rams. Best bang for the buck. I still grin when I get behind the wheel, and Ive had mine for almost a year! Ride comfort, power, 8 speed, and a price thats 5-10k less than the competition just cant be beat IMO. This forum has a lot of good advice. Thanks for the help

For that 5-10k difference you can put a whipple on your truck. Your smiles per gallon will go up exponentially. I look for excuses just to drive my truck. GF needs to go to the store " I'll drive you, we'll take the truck"

I'm 2+ years into my first RAM after being a long-time Ford owner. I still love driving it and get lots of compliments. Driving should be fun even when it sucks, such as rush hour

I've only got 859 miles on my Ram.. Before you all break out the whips and begin the floggings I work half a world away.

I had it for 2 weeks and live on an island. Trust me. I tried like hell to drive the **** out of it.. :)

Bought it the 1st full day I was home for some much needed R&R. I got a '17 Sport and the wife got a '17 Big Horn. (She liked the chrome)..

When I left home to come back to work, her truck had all of 37 miles on it (the test drive and the drive from the dealership). Took my sport EVERYWHERE... lmao

Needless to say I gotta play catch up after 6 months away. After I get my CAI, exhaust, and pedal commander on... Play Time!!!

And yes 1st Ram for both of us and LOVING every minute behind the wheel!

I had a '98 that wouldn't get out of it's own way. Then a 2009 Hemi Sport. Loved that truck. Bought a 2017 Hemi orange Sport and it's awesome. Absolutely love this truck.

542 miles on my new Ram Rebel...loving it!

Came from a Durango R/T. Great vehicle...but the Ram is a different animal altogether.

So happy with this purchase...I'm mod happy now...but that will end when I get it to where I want. Its a beast...put on a Carven Progressive with 5" black tips last night and am looking for excuses today to run errands! It sounds amazing!

Having so much fun in this truck...My Durango was great...but didn't get the looks my Rebel does.

I love sitting so high in traffic...never owned a truck before...just my Durango..which was fine..but nothing like getting into a pickup like the Rebel!

I remember some 318 engines ran quicker than others in the rams. No one one ever knew why.

The old Magnum engines, 5.2 and 5.9L (318, 360) respectively are some of the best all around V8s ever produced. If you want a hot rod on a budget they are very hard to beat for bang for the buck.

My 92 Dakota had a 318. One test dive and I was hooked. Had Chrysler put in a limited slip because I kept frying tires!

I've owned 4 4th generation rams (1500s and 2500s) and several from previous generations. I used to own nothing but Fords, but I think the Rams are as good or better than the others, and less expensive to boot. I like the look of the Chevys, but with some many friends owning them and complaining, I just don't trust their reliability....plus, I think they are over priced compare to both Ford and Ram.

My 2017 1500 Bighorn was a certified used truck with 12,000 miles....bought it for the same price as a Tradesman but with a lot more "stuff". Could not be happier....smooth ride, good hauler and 19-20 mpg every day.

My first RAM 1500 (2012 Lamarie with all options) and I've been eyeing either a 2014-2016 1500 or a 2500 HD with the 6.4L hemi. I like the look of the 1500 a bit more but would like more towing capability for a larger boat down the line and the 2500 offers better tow ratings. I would probably install a lift kit and larger wheels/tires as well on the 2500. Love RAMs!

Glad to hear you're happy. I was a long time GM guy that switched to ram this spring with my 17' copperhead sport CC. I basically still have the same opinion as you, especially on the value for dollar front

Well could be better!!!

2014 Laramie Limited 3 years 75k Miles

-Radio CTB
-Power Steering CTB
-Key Fobs CTB
-Puddle Lights CTB
-Battery CTB
-Foot Well LED CTB

The real test of these trucks will be when everyone starts getting close to 100K to have real long term reliability/quality data.
I still think they have some work to do but I overall I would give RAM a Grade of a "B"

CTB=CRAPPED THE BED!!!:puke:
