thanks everyone. I've got the black chrome 22" RT wheels on the way. They're the replicas so I think they'll be a bit heavier, but hopefully not too much difference. I've also got the sport hood decal on the way. I think those two mods will really set it off.

Pictures really don't do them justice. they look great on there! I threw a pic of the truck with the chrome ones on to show the difference. Now all I need is the sport hood decal and it'll look bada$$!

I think they look Great!! and tie into the way everything else is black on the truck. To me the chrome ones stuck out vs tieing in with everything else. If you get aftermarket replica hood stripes you can get them in gloss black which would look good

Well I ordered a replica hood decal and when I went to put it on, one side was damaged and almost stuck to the backing so i had to throw it away. I ordered the actual OEM carbon fiber decals so the quality is better. I think it'll still look good.

Oh yea they will still look good. Sucks that the aftermarket ones were junk.
Here is what the oem carbon fiber ones look like on another member's truck

No this was a problem with the decal itself. The decal wouldn't separate from the backing. Almost like it was glued together

Damn. That's a sexy truck. I was leaning towards a setup like that originally when I started modding mine

Oh well that stinks. The OEM was good but they rolled it up so I let it sit for a few days under heavy paper stuff to flatten out

I've also went back down to the 8" black antenna. It gets decent FM reception and just looks so much better than the stocker.

The black chrome looks amazing and you'll probably get back twice what you paid for them from selling the OE wheels, but weren't the OE ones like a $1500 option from the factory? And they are forged weighing it at 33 lbs vs 41-43 lbs for the replicas...I woulda preferred to get the OE wheels coated. Though I guess 16-20 lbs of extra rolling mass at the rear axle wouldn't be as noticeable on a 5500 truck as it was on the little track cars I came from.

Ya the replicas are definitely a bit heavier but well worth it. I thought about having them powder coated but when I found out I could probably make money after getting the new wheels that helped me get the new ones. I'd imagine having the stock ones done would of been 500$ or so.

Yeah that makes sense, seems like a much easier and more affordable route. I'm sure your factory wheels won't last long. I've been eyeballing a set, but they'd require some polishing work to be 100%.
