New CTD on order!

So I've decided that it's time to get rid of my 2012 Ram 2500 Hemi MC. I've been looking for that last few months trying to find one I liked, but none of them really spoke to me. Even though my last experience ordering a truck was kind of a pain, I decided to do it again! On 11/10 I ordered a 2017 Ram 2500 CTD Laramie MC. Spoke to the dealer the other day and was told that it was in D1 and had a VIN assigned. If I remember correctly, last time it took FOREVER to get to this point. Hopefully it won't take as long to get here as the last one!

what gear ratio. any additional add ons. are you going to customize it with bigger tires the world needs to know

It will have 3.42 gears. That's the only option on a SRW Cummins.

But yes, we all need to know what the plans are for it

Thanks guys! I plan on putting a BDS 3" RA lift, SOTA wheels and Toyo At2s in 35x12.5x20. Not sure which wheels yet. Kind of torn between the AWOLs in the anthra kote or the SCARs in stealth. Not sure if the anthra kote will look good on silver...

Yep, still trolling around for some good pictures of those awol in anthra kote. I would like to see them on a silver truck. So if anyone come across any pics, let me know.

If you dont' mind, what was the " i want that " , that made you decide to go with the extended cab? Considering the usable amount of space is so dramatically small? I've been contemplating the extended cab, but I can't justify the way it looks over the usability. Bout to order my 2500 in the next couple days!

You can actually fit quite a bit of gear behind the rear seats. For me, once I had that space available, I didn't think I could go to a crew cab. Also, there is a lIttle but more leg room back there and the seats recline making it comfortable for passengers on a long road trip. Oh, the back seats fold flat, unlike the crew cab with the whole flip up and pull out deal. I know a lot of folks out there don't like the look, but I guess to each their own. I could throw up some interior pics if you'd like.

I thought I'd be ok going from a MC to a CC. (I'll never go back to a QC) But, I can tell you I am really missing that extra storage behind the rear seats. Never realized how much I used it until it was gone.
