now it is time to get back into a truck. Gave the cousin a call at the local Ram dealer and he found an bought a truck for me in two days. This is where it gets interesting
2015 Ram 1500 Crew SLT, he sent me some pictures and I said there is no way it could be an SLT or some one modified it. He replied with an older gentleman owned it and it just came off lease.
What I saw in the pics, Body color front and rear bumpers, body color fender flares, sport hood, black 20 inch ram rims.
I got the Vin from him did some digging and found that it is a Pittsburgh Penguins edition Ram. which adds all listed above and decals, floor mats and sill plates along with dual zone, heated wheel and seats.
At this point I haven't seen the truck as its not here yet and is in transit. I run over on lunch to the dealer to put a deposit sight unseen with stipulation if its crap I get my money back. While there he prints the window sticker for the truck and we are shocked again to find that it is actually a Big Horn with a Pittsburgh Penguins package. so it adds a slew of other features and add-ons. There is also 14 months remaining on the 3 year warranty.
Feeling like I got a steal of a deal for this one, KBB puts it at a value of $34,000.00 and I'm paying an already agreed price of $28,000.00. That is if its not a POS, but judging by the few pics I was sent its in great shape.
Pretty crazy.
