It's official, I'm out of the 36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. Just went over 36,000 problem free miles today. Here's to at least 100,000 more.

Buy the lifetime warranty while you can. I just got an email that its on sale for $1500 for 5 yrs and unlimited miles. You can only do this within the 1st 3 yrs and 48k miles.

Can you provide me with the info? I'm getting ready to buy the FCA Lifetime Warranty through Clay for $2865, but it's not 5 years it's for the lifetime. But, I'd like to see what you have.

It's probably a worthwhile expense if you can afford it ....and don't have the time/tools/desire to work on your truck (and who does these days right??). I think from a mechanical perspective, these trucks are pretty solid (I've got over 150k on mine!!), but a series of trips to the dealer to chase down some sudden and unexpected computer or fuel-related snafu, or even bad head gaskets could rack up a $1500 bill. Factor in how long you plan to keep the truck. Hold off if you plan to trade it in at 50k-60k miles. Get to know the fine print in case there are certain exclusions.

I'm sure Dodge has crunched the numbers and must have a pretty high degree of confidence in the overall reliability of their trucks to offer that warranty at that price. That, or there are certain exclusions. Good luck!

I know we're talking different coverage, but here's my comparison.
I just called, and even with their "$800 off" she said, the LIFETIME Maxcare with $100 deductable (same coverage I was quoted from Clay) is $3315. [email protected] price is $2865.

Awesome price, now call the number back and they said they will beat any quoted price. Worth a try to play against each company.
