Noticed that the temp readings can be 5-7 degrees cooler than what the actual temp might be..like today it was 50F outside, but the indicator was showing 44-45F. Sometimes it might be within 3 degrees.
My wife's car usually is within a degree or 2.
Anyone else notice this and can it be recalibrated somehow?

I think the outside temp sensor on a 2012 is up inside the front grill somewhere. In 2013 they moved them inside the driver's mirror housing. This was allegedly because the air dampeners in front of the radiator would have affected them.
