Just parked up and my alarm went off within seconds. I couldn't turn the alarm off at all, pressed the lock and unlock button a few times even got into the truck and started it and it wouldn't go off. What the hell is going on?
I think in the end it went off by itself. I was about to pull the battery negative was embarrassing.

Edit. I think I had to use the physical key to open the door as the keyfob button wouldn't unlock the truck. If that makes any sense.

I bumped the panic button by mistake once before. The only way to turn it off is to press the panic button again - no other buttons work.

With all your posts, what actually does work on your truck?

Good to know, thanks. I didn't try that. But I did read the manual and it said something about unlock and lock won't work to open the door if the alarm is activated. But did say alarm should go off when sentry key or whatever it's called is used to turn truck on. It didn't as truck was on with alarm still going off. So I suppose it could have been ( hoping) the panic button being pressed.

I bet it was the panic button. I've done that and had to hit it again to get it to go off. I'm good at remote starting mine when the fob is in my pocket. I'm glad to see you old guys made up, LOL.

Yeah. Certainly looks like I'm the monkey in this post. [emoji12]

I've also set off the panic alarm when it was in my pocket. Like roastpuff said, the arm/disarm buttons will do nothing, you have to hit the panic button again to make it stop.
