Possible 5th gen for 2018?

So I just bought my 2017 sport and I was just wondering. Isn't it time for the next gen rams for 2018? I what are the possibilities of a new generation? If there is going to be a new one I hope I hate it.

On Allpar it states they will go on the market January 2018 as 2019 models. We'll see......

They would just extend the model year. You can usually be driving a next year model in August, so this would just make a longer model year. Corvette has done this.

chevy also did this with the 07-14 tahoes. i was looking into them at like feb of 06. many car companies do this when its a new release. like stated above it just extends that model year longer.

I thought the rumored release of the Gen5 truck was going to be the 2018 model year rolling off the newly revamped Sterling Assembly line(as opposed from the current Warren Truck). The Gen5s are supposed to go on sale as of January 1 2018(late release).
