Its overdue, I've been hearing a noise from the back end for a while now. Nothing crazy, I honestly didn't think much of it until the wife got in the truck a few weeks ago and said something.

Last week, driving up to Dave's place (about 250 miles round trip) - I was on the phone with my Dad, he could hear it as I was merging on the highway. Trip wasn't bad, didn't get any louder or anything. This week though........it started vibrating around 35-40 MPH. All from the rear end.

So, she's going in Tuesday morning. I had to wait until I had a vehicle available for me (my old Exploder - my Dad owns it now), as I don't get a rental car........lame.

Hope its something simple that they can fix on Tuesday! Going to be weird........I haven't been without a truck since I got my 08 back in April 2008. Only had 1 issue with that one (at 10K, outer tie rod end was replaced), its going to be VERY weird driving my old ploder! :killer:

Oh, I'll update the thread!

I don't get a lot of highway miles on the truck - most trips are less than 10 miles total and speeds below 40.........

sounds about like the average for mine. I love warranties when you've got a decent dealership around to do the work

Honestly...........I don't know if they are decent or not! I guess thats kind of a good thing?

Since May 07 we have bought 4 brand new vehicles. The 07 Grand Caravan we had, went into the shop 2x, minor crap. My 08, mentioned above. Those were all at the dealer right down the street. I HATE how long it takes them to check in a vehicle...........30 minutes. F that, just drop it and GO. I took the truck to another dealer (about 10 mins away) to do the keys when I got my alarm........they seemed pretty good - so they are getting the work.

(my '10 town & country hasn't been in the shop yet - other than oil changes)

So.....been lucky! :D

yup, I took the tune off last night. :D

I got a call from the dealer this afternoon - they were going to rip into her rear end and see if its the carrier bearing. I just want my truck back..........there's a reason I sold my old Exploder (to my dad).......and I don't like seeing that thing in my garage, worse yet.......driving it.

I went to hop on the highway tonight and I just about got ran over. Stupid 200HP..........gimme my 400 back NOW!
