Anyone else having issues with this forum lately? It seems to take forever to load recently.

No problems here. Are you logged in when its taking a while to load? Trying to use any forum these days without being logged in is a nightmare because of all the adds.

As Hemi450hp said, are you logged in when you try to open the site? If not on saved log in there is so much adverts trying to load it can slow it down quite a bit.

Wouldn't he have to be logged in to leave a comment? ;)

Poster didn't say it happened when he posted, just stated "It seems to take forever to load recently" so I was assuming he meant loading the site page.

It does seem like the site doesn't like to load on Tapatalk when on mobile data, just this site though.
When on WiFi it doesn't seem to have any problems.

This. I can wait and wait on Tapatalk or bring browser and the site loads faster, but still slow cared to when on WiFi.

Same problem here. Very slow or just locks up all together. I was going to make a post on the problem on Friday but I couldn't get on the site!

Only time I have issues is when I'm on my phone and not using wifi.

Yea... the site sucks. It crashes IE, Foxy, and Chrome. I think it is the plethora of ads that somehow crash the browser and cause it to sit and spin.

I don't use a mobile app, so only on the PC, but I have not noticed any issues. It's not the fastest forum on the net, but not nearly the slowest either. I'd say above average for me on performance and reliability. Again, I don't use a mobile device, only PC.

It's been like this for awhile lately using Chrome. I switched over to Firefox solely for this site and the lag has been cut by maybe 75%. It's still slower than most sites, but Firefox makes the site bearable at least for me.

I have issues daily with the site. I have tried IE and Chrome (ususally just Chrome) and I have issues with the right column showing up properly. This is the area wih the login section. Things will not line up properly to allow me to log in. Then, when this happens, I also usually cannot scroll down the page at all. I have worked in IT for over 20 years and this is NOT a PC issue or anything related to cache. It appears to be a bug in the page code.

I have some experience with the software used on this forum and others. I do know that when vBulletin was created, it was specifically designed for use with Firefox. So even though it will work with most browsers, Firefox is going to be the one with the best compatibility. I've always used Firefox for just about everything, except for a few sites for work that will only work correctly with IE.
